Climate Calling Exhibition

Date: 17 - 26 March 2025 | Location: Canada Water, 21 Surrey Quays Rd, London SE16 7AR

Welcome to the Climate Calling Capsule Exhibition

Wood & Water is a social enterprise dedicated to creating a world where humanitarian and environmental stories inspire action towards racial justice. We equip storytellers of today and tomorrow with the tools they need to rewrite narratives that too often include racial stereotypes, and overlook connections between environmental, humanitarian, and racial justice issues.

Co-created with young Southwark residents, Climate Calling is a workshop and learning exhibition.

Across February and March, the Climate Calling Capsule Exhibition will be touring Southwark Libraries. These pop-ups share the visual designs and objects Climate Calling uses to engage young people in discussions about climate change and its impacts on health, particularly in Black and Brown communities. They also showcase Al-generated images and text young participants created in workshop sessions. Their digital work expands on common climate narratives to include reflections on race and racism.

Thank you to Climate Calling’s young Southwark participants, Southwark libraries, as well as our funders at Impact for Urban Health.
