Commercial Work

At Wood & Water, our vision is a world where humanitarian, development and environmental stories promote racial justice for all.

We work with clients to understand racialised narratives, where they come from and how they can be transformed for good. As a social enterprise, we reinvest our profits into storytelling initiatives with marginalised young people interested in the topics we care about most.

Learning & Unlearning

We provide training where participants learn about the importance of including racial justice and colonial theory into their knowledge and content generation. We also support people to understand how to question existing knowledge about storytelling. We do this through:

  • Digital training — a set of self-guided training modules

  • Bespoke training — in-person tailored for our clients’ needs

  • Learning circles — facilitated groups for regular self-reflection

  • Analysis and writing labs — tools and training on how to retell stories.

If you want to promote racial justice through your storytelling get in touch:

Organisations we’ve worked with

We engage groups in inspiring anti-racist storytelling and narrative change initiatives. Some of the brilliant organisations we have worked with include Feedback Global, Results UK, and Salmon Youth Centre.
